The Twitter Revolution is now making all of us real weary! Haven’t we noticed the frequent error and Twitter Shutdowns staring us in the face so often.

Hugely popular Twitter and Twitter Apps, like the village old bully has really grown conceitful and indifferent to the woes of millions of Twitter Followers worldwide.

Is this the price of loyalty you pay for being on Twitter and aching your fingers to tweet when they were meant to tap?

It makes me and almost all whom I know think and feel that Twitter can’t have any real meaning in our lives, except creating a traffic-inundated revenue model where they can make money out of our downcast, ingratiating allegiance and dismiss us with a ‘I-don’t-care’ stance in case of outages.

It is time, friends and fellow Tweeters to Abandon Twitter Forever- Maybe the Twitter Box needs a rehab!

Twitter has been brazenly unmindful of situations in which we twitterers find ourselvers when we can’t submit or it says Twitter is over capacity as it happened today:

Such shameless banners do no more than exacerbate our frustration. We are ready to hit submit and again and again, this two-penny badly done graphic tries to armtwist us with a stony glance.

Hell with Twitter! Can’t they be more human and instead issue an apology to us all each time they can’t handle our requests. On top of it, what makes us accept meekly such nonchalance from a startup in an era of Web 3.0 and Cloud-2 levels ( we never tire of singing paeans of our Cloud breakthroughs as Salesforce CEO Benioff was waxing eloquent only recently in a forum) when we can leverage the viral power of social media to oust this monster of a Twitter, hook, line and sinker.

Any Startup in Social Media or IT that makes a mockery of the humans mobilizing and publicizing it at the cost of the most expensive things they ever can part with- TIME, needs no better treatment than en masse social boycott and thumbs down banishment.

It eludes our senses to understand what’s stopping Twitter from going for an advanced dedicated server infrastructure to avoid such hideous surfer experiences. Well, unless we ABANDON TWITTER FOREVER, and kick through Twitter’s dream of making money off our stooping arses, Twitter won’t think of strategic IT investments. Unless I make money outta you, I won’t hug you like a bear- Is that what Twitter means or rather insinuates?

Time for Action Social Media folks- Let’s Abandon Twitter Now!

Pima Cotton may sound like just another brand name of ordinary cotton. However, it differs in a big way on account of the length of staples. The length of Cotton strands is measured in terms of staples. The length of ordinary cotton is slightly above an inch while on the other hand the staples of pima cotton are more than 1.3/8 inches. In fact pima cotton can qualify as Extra Long Staple (ELS) only if measures more than 1. 9/16 inches.

Also dubbed as American-Egyptian-Cotton due to its south-west origins in the US ever since the early 20th century, Pima Cotton is produced and processed in various parts of the world including Australia, Israel, Peru, US etc. However, not many of us know that Pima cotton makes for the most durable and softest of cotton fibers and forms a mere three percent of total cotton produced in US annually.

Pima Cotton is also known as Creole cotton, Gossypium barbadense, Extra Long Staple, Algodon pais, South American cotton, West Indische katoen and Sea Island Cotton in various parts of the world.

Pima Baby cotton with its greater tensile strength results in extra fine spun yards which brings to the end-user that unique feel, breathability, and durability. Sumptuously soft, velvety and fluffy baby clothes in 100 percent pima cotton make an obvious choice for parents. Clothing and essentials for your newborn baby in Pima cotton also make an ecological statement due to their environment-friendly weaves.

Parents never tire of pampering their month-old baby with Pima Cotton baby clothing. Pima Cotton baby clothes make a perfect shower gift for newborn babies. Pima Cotton knit toddler clothes include pants, rompers, short sleeve tees, leggings, footsies, jumpers, diapers, bibs, bodysuits.

Pima Cotton outfits for newborn babies are baby skin friendly as the pesticides are not used in growing Pima fibers. This is one reason why Pima Cotton baby outfits come at a higher price tag.

Price or no price, doting parents shall never cease from pampering their newborn ones by splurging on Pima cotton baby apparels.

Take it or not emeralds never come without flaws. Little do many people know that all types of Emeralds undergo enhancement treatments. Purely one reason why jewelers like to keep this fact under wraps is the fear lest customers might choose not to buy anymore or end up forking a deal at cheaper rates.

To those who are not aware, it should be told that all variants of emeralds come with intrinsic breaks and inclusions from nature. The key objective of treating an emerald is to fill in these breaks and treat them to diminish the flaws and render them more lustrous.

One of the ancient most practices pioneered by gemstone cutters was one that involved bathing the stone in natural oils. This ‘Oil Treatment’ of emeralds was useful in filling up the fissures of the stone and augmenting the appearance of emeralds. Using colorless oil is regarded generally an acceptable practice while application of green oil is regarded with suspicion. What happens actually is the breaks & fissures soak in the oil thereby softening the appearance of present flaws. Precisely due to this reason it is advisable to always steer clear from cleansing emeralds with ultrasonic cleaners and similarly soapy water should also be avoided.

In addition, clear resins like Opticon are also smeared on an emerald to seal down surface ruptures. As against the oiling technique, usage of Opticon gives longer lasting results. Opticon treatments are met with greater acceptability, excepting of course when green dye is applied to increase the colour of emeralds. In this context, one can hardly dismiss these April 1994 lines of Roy Albers, “Opticon is really bad, worse than a two-dollar bottle of wine: I will not buy emeralds that have been Opticon-treated; if all are thus treated, I would never buy emeralds.”

Of the key fillers used in filling the emerald fissures, mention may be made of Cedarwood oil, Clove oil, Canada Balsam resin, Epoxy 828, Opticon resin, Glass, Palma. All these fillers can be injected with vacuum pressure and have different refractive indexes, solvents, colors, evaporative and color stability. Opticon is evaporatively very stable in stark contrast to cedar oil. The evaporative stability of glass in emerald treatments is perfect, while that of Opticon resin, Epoxy 828 and Palma is excellent, Canada Balsam resin and Cedar/Clove oil take the good and poor slot respectively.

If we evaluate the color stability of resins/dyes used in emerald treatments, glass scores a perfect ten while Palma and Epoxy 828 are just average. Opticon takes on a yellowish orange hue with time especially upon heating. Cedar oil also yellows with age as clove oil treatments turn dark when exposed to light. Nothing is known with certainty about the color stability of Canada Balsam resin.

There are no clear-cut, well laid emerald treatment disclosure policies given the variety of practices and advancements in technology and obvious reasons. Still if you decide to go for a treated emerald, better to buy one that has a stable filling.

Adam’s love for apples is not hid from any one. Once again spark was added to this prehistoric love relationship when Notion Ink, an Indian startup managed by 3 young grads created the design of Adam Now this is a technological gadget and is precisely a nouveau tablet computer meant to offset Apple’s latest tech tool ipad.

The new Adam PC is considered to be running on super energy-efficient parts with a unique display that can switch from color to black & white in the blink of an eye! Geeks all over the world have already been taken by surprise by the announcement of Adam by Notion Ink propelling India from IT services provider fame into a strong presence in consumer electronics field.

The new Adam tablet computer is going to be a significant money saver in contrast to ipad that starts at $499. Designed in India, Adam’s production shall commence from Taiwan and it is expected to retails at $325. The indigenous Adam avatar of tablet PC is yards apart from its counterpart iPad: boasting of battery lie in “days” instead of hours and support for flash- something not present in iPads.

Clearly the new Adam is out to gulp Apple again with gusto- Hail Indian Creativity!!!

Did you know that in US romantic novels generate $1.37 billion and that Harlequin Enterprises is world’s leading romance publisher selling 130 million books a year and releasing 1,200 titles.

A boy octopus said to the girl octopussy on Valentine: “Can I hold your hand, hand, hand, hand, hand, hand, hand, hand?”

Close by was a bat pair and I heard the bat address his beloved: You’re fun to hang around with”

This week Warner Brothers released Valentine Day trumpeting it to be a GREEN movie than PINK! What does that mean? Well, you pick up reusable water bottles instead of plastic bottles reducing CO2, solar powered generators, bio-diesel fuel-based trucks, bio-degradable cups, plates and utensils, rental hybrid cars. Simple steps to best green practices- I’m impressed!!!

At all times than not, your life- professional or personal takes a positive U-turn with a simple mouthplay. Either you end up getting that raise, or that much sought after vacation break or a telecommute go-ahead when correct words flow through your voice box and end up as a symphony in other party’s ears. Who says words don’t throw their weight around? They do. Perhaps, the greatest of all time French philosophers, Jean Paul Sartre realized the importance of WORD POWER like nobody else when he decided to call his autobiography ‘Les Mots’ (The Words)

Here below, we offer you 7 MOST MAGICAL PHRASES that can make a roaring success in your career:

“You may be right, but here’s how I see it…”

“What does your gut tell you?”

“How can I help you?”

“That may be true, but look at it this way… ”

“Tell me what’s working and what’s not working.”

“Don’t worry; I’ve got plenty of time.”

“What do you think we should be doing differently?”

Use these phrases more often. The whole idea behind using Power Phrases like the ones above is to put the other party at ease. As a quick tip, use these set of words with genuine humility while giving total attention to the person addressed. Then just wait…

The windfall would surely happen in your business life- sooner or later.

Just wondering if there’s any connect between the three!

I think there really exists an intimate relation- one which ignore for the most part due to feigned busy-ness. The seed of desire (which remains mostly unfulfilled) makes the stuff of dreams. A certain wish-fulfillment happens when we dream about our dreams and professed/unprofessed fantasies and ambitions. So there is a connect between Desire and Dreams.

Now let’s turn to time or TIME. Do you think we can detect its relation to Desire. Well, upon much scratching, it is easy to understand that every desire creates a space. This space is filled in by time when we put in efforts and energies to actually obtain our desires. So we think in terms of Time, or Durations or Moments. We split Time into convenient chunks- say an hour, or quarter or 24 hours for our own convenience.

Time in itself never comes in bits and pieces and is always a whole. It is available only as a single Moment. We can call that moment as the Present. It is only when we divide time to achieve a goal that it takes on the categories of Past or Future (if it is yet to come).

So the source is Desire that summons a space that is in turn filled in by Time. Any obstacles in achievement of desired goals leads to frustrations anger and doubts that saps the only available thing to us: the PRESENT. These obstacles in the path of goals try to find fulfillment in our dreams state as completed object or as stress in the Present. So there’s a clear connection between Desire, Dreams, and Time.

I am sure all of us have experienced such states however, not knowing/pondering the exact connection between these three life stealers. Yeah, I got it right!

Feel free to add on your own opinions or observations on this very important conundrum called Life and the way we spend it.
